Year 12-13
When your child finishes year 13, there are several different routes they can choose to pursue. This period of their education is called “Post-18”. The route they take depends mostly upon their financial situation, interests, their attitude to study, their qualifications, the job market and their future career or job aspirations. Everyone’s journey will be different, but below you will find the most common routes taken at Post-18:
- Higher Education
- Apprenticeship
- Employment
- A 'Gap Year'
