Profile

I acquired a level 4 HNC apprenticeship in the building services industry with a company called CPW. Through my 2 years at the company I have developed my engineering and workplace skills from a new trainee who had no knowledge of the industry, to an engineer who has lead his own jobs. I have worked on a variety of projects ranging from school/ colleges to hospitals and office blocks. I have also become one of the youngest engineers to be offered the opportunity to mentor a new trainee, so I have been teaching and mentoring a new apprentice for a few months. I have completed my HNC and just started a bachelors degree in Building Services.

Advice to students

Don't stress about the grades you will get in your GCSEs or A-Levels or what University you will get into because as long as you try your best you will do perfectly fine in industry.
