Employer: Circle Health Group

Job Title: Deputy Clinical Services Manager Physiotherapy

Qualifications:

  • Bsc (Hons) Physiotherapy 2:1

Profile

After finishing Sixth form I studied Physiotherapy at Coventry University for 3 years and moved straight into the NHS. Starting as a band 5 at Peterborough City Hospital I started my band 5 rotations through the core areas - outpatients, medicine, orthopaedics, neuro and respiratory. I subsequently changed sites and gained a promotion to band 6 at Hinchinbrooke Hospital in Orthopaedics where I stayed for 5 years. This time included the pandemic where our job roles changed for that period. After this time I wanted a new challenge so I moved into the private sector to Circle Health Group where I remained a senior physiotherapist but gaining more experience in outpatients but bringing my experience of orthopaedics. In late 2023 I was promoted to Deputy Clinical Services Manager Physiotherapy where I now oversee the day to day running of our smaller site in Bedford and from this run a monthly hip and knee class.

Advice to students

Do what you enjoy, and don’t worry about others. Success is different for everyone - be successful how you want to be, not how others think you should be.
