Profile

After finishing sixth form at SVA I went to DMU where I realised I wanted to become a teacher. This September I started teaching science as a Teach First Trainee in Northampton and should have QTS and a PGCE by next year.

I did Psychology with Criminology at DMU and got a first. My dissertation was a qualitative research project on people’s experiences of being part of fandoms. Once I gain QTS I want to teach Psychology because it is an amazingly interesting subject.

Advice to students

Know that what is meant to be will be - you don’t have to know what you’re you doing / going to do and it’s okay to change your mind.
