Profile

Since leaving Lincroft Academy, I went onto study 3 A-levels at Kimberley College in Business, Economics and Sociology where I achieved the required grades to be offered a degree apprenticeship programme at the largest aircraft manufacturer in the world (Airbus). From here I am 'earning while I am learning' studying an applied business management degree, facilitated by Swansea university, while working within many different business areas within Airbus. So far, these business areas have included: Airbus operating systems (AOS), Commercial contracting and Industrial integration.

Currently I am a business undergraduate apprentices at Airbus (A aircraft manufacturing firm) where being a Business Degree Apprentice has allowed me the unique opportunity to work across a variety of business functions and teams, giving me the “university experience” with 3 whole years of invaluable industry experience. This degree apprenticeship has enabled me to gain broad exposure to Airbus' daily operations and management of aircraft production. I gain both academic knowledge and on-the-job training at our site in Broughton (North Wales) near Chester, whilst earning a full-time salary and paying ZERO fees to do so.

This apprenticeship has allowed me to be involved in a variety of strategic development roles as well as modifications of products and plant industrial projects, which could include the following:
