I applied for 30+ apprenticeship roles during Year 13.

I got 6 offers and accepted one from Sky.

After leaving the sixth form, I continued working part-time at a local takeaway. I left this in August 2023 and started at Sky in September 2023.

My apprenticeship at Sky is a software engineering role. I started with a training 'bootcamp' to prepare me for my role.

I have now completed the bootcamp, so I spend my time working on programming projects with other apprentices and colleagues at Sky.

My apprenticeship is a Level 4 qualification. Sky is my employer, and Multiverse is my training provider.

My working week is mainly spent working for Sky but there is time scheduled throughout the week to work on my course with Multiverse.

At the end of my apprenticeship, I will have a couple of technical discussions about my work and knowledge from the apprenticeship.

After this, I will have earnt my Level 4 qualification in software engineering.

Don't compare yourself to others; it's you against you. Focus on yourself and stay true to yourself.

Don't worry about what other people say about you and just do your best.
